Business Cooperation and Production Process at Qingdao Hengxin Transmission Co., Ltd.
2026-09-15
Qingdao Hengxin Transmission Co., Ltd. focuses on power transmission equipment and core components. Its main products include gears, gearboxes, couplings, drive shafts, and non-standard transmission devices, which are widely applied in port machinery, metallurgy, mining, rubber and plastics, environmental protection, and automated logistics.
In terms of business cooperation, the company operates through both standard products and customized manufacturing. Standard products cover commonly used gearbox models and coupling spare parts. Customized business is developed according to customer-provided working conditions, installation space, and torque requirements. The sales and service team participates in selection calculations during the early project stage, tracks production progress through process cards, and provides installation guidance, fault diagnosis, and repair or remanufacturing services after delivery. This closed-loop model extends the company’s business from single-part processing to transmission system support and full life-cycle service.
The production process follows multiple stages from blank preparation to finished products. The first stage is blank preparation. Key components such as gears and housings use forged or cast blanks. After incoming inspection, material certificates are checked, and chemical composition analysis and ultrasonic testing are carried out to prevent defects such as cracks, shrinkage porosity, and blowholes from entering the machining stage. The second stage is rough machining and heat treatment. Blanks undergo rough turning and rough milling to remove excess material, followed by normalizing, quenching and tempering, or carburizing according to material and hardness requirements, so that parts achieve good overall mechanical properties. The third stage is precision machining and gear cutting. Housings and shafts are processed on CNC machining centers and CNC lathes. Gear teeth are first formed by hobbing or shaping, then finished by gear grinding machines to control tooth profile error, lead error, and surface roughness. The fourth stage is assembly and testing. After cleaning and inspection, parts enter the assembly area. During assembly, gear backlash, bearing clearance, and seal installation are checked. After the complete unit is assembled, no-load running-in and load testing are performed, and temperature rise, noise, and vibration are monitored. The fifth stage is rust prevention and packaging. Qualified products undergo anti-rust treatment and wooden-case packaging, and are shipped with factory inspection records.
Quality control runs through the entire production process. The company applies first article inspection, patrol inspection, and final inspection. Temperature curves are recorded during heat treatment, critical dimensions are fully inspected, and machining batch information is retained to ensure product traceability. In the future, the company can continue improving modular gearboxes, intelligent transmission units, and remanufacturing services to enhance transmission efficiency and reliability.
